Loki, born Laufeyjarson and later known as Loki Odinson, is a complex and multifaceted character within the Marvel universe. He is a Frost Giant from Jotunheim, adopted by Odin, the Allfather of Asgard, after a battle. This adoption occurred after Odin defeated Loki's father, King Laufey, and discovered the abandoned infant.

Growing up alongside Thor, the crown prince of Asgard, Loki was often overshadowed. While Thor excelled in strength and combat, Loki mastered magic and illusion.
